Short-Term Running Goals:

Continue running Boston and Chicago every year, adding in others here and there

Complete in a Ironman 70.3 in 2017, and if all goes well an Ironman in 2018

Long-Term Running Goals:

- Run at least two marathons every year

- Run the 6 Majors (Chicago, New York, Boston, Berlin, London, Tokyo)

- Inspire and encourage family/friends and run marathon(s) with them

  

Personal:

I am a 34 year old male from Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from the University of Colorado in May 2006 and started running in the spring of 2007. Since then I have gone from a max of about 220 pounds to my current weight of roughly 175 lbs, and more importantly have developed a true joy and passion for running.

Congrats on an awesome Marathon. Is that a new PR? what were the weather conditions like this year? I've always wanted to try Chicago maybe next year

Thank you so much Bill! Yes, a new PR in my 9th Chicago and 13th overall marathon. My previous best was a 2:58:47 posted in 2009. Weather conditions were a bit windy this year, but otherwise just perfect. Temps in the low 60s. It's such a great race and I encourage you to experience it some day.

Congrats on a well run Chicago Marathon. I haven't run it yet but plan on it someday.There are so many marathons out there but so little time to get to them....I hope to get BQ to return to the 2018 Boston, God willing and the creeks don't rise. Are you signed up for an Ironman?
