Mission accomplished - Boston 2010 is next (already registered)!! Also raised $2000 for the American Cancer Society in the process.

Thanks everyone for your great advice and words of encouragement!

Check it out, made the chicago sun-times website (running through Chinatown - mile 23, that's me on the right) with my german friend/running coach Martin. Sweet.

Congratulations! It is one thing to know you can run a fast time, but it is something else to actually do it.

Looking at the splits you held your own in the second half very well. I would say you paced it perfectly.

Wow, what a big PR!! Is this still as a cigarette smoker? Please tell me "no". Holy cow, if so you are headed for a 2:30 real soon at quitting time, right? Since I never read your blog before, I like to read up on race reports, I probably missed that announcement. Great for you raising money for the American Cancer Society....uhhh I guess that means you quit? Happy post marathon recovery :D.
